Transpromo and Personalised Marketing
Transpromo brings together transactional information, such as invoices, statements, appointment reminders, notifications etc. In fact anything that needs to be sent out (electronically or in a hard copy form) anyway, with promotional material, hence transpromo.
The concept delivers in two ways, firstly it builds upon an existing relationship and secondly it creates relevant and personalised communications.
Example: a holiday company is sending out an invoice for a ski holiday, the invoice now appears as the front page of a small booklet that contains a catalogue of various ski equipment, information about dog boarding (as company knows recipients have dogs), local restaurants at the resort and a complete holiday itinerary along with local maps of the area.
OK, I accept this is quite a complicated example, but transpromo, especially when personalised, can be as simple or as detailed as you like, the point being, it creates business from merging together information that entices the receiver to respond in some way, due to its relevance.
The secret of success using this technology is not in the software or the production method but in the predetermined strategy with an eye on outcome.
