Leveraging Technology

Technology for technology sake maybe fun, but can prove, not so profitable.  It’s always been a challenge when to adopt new technology and there are numerous anecdotes around about the pitfalls of choosing the wrong direction.

Even so, at present we are experiencing the greatest and fastest change in technology since forever.  If experts are to be believed, technology is doubling every 18 months.  In fact I recently heard a statistic that claimed in twenty years technology could be doubling every 72 hours.  Frightening!

Given the speed of change as it is now, there is no point ignoring it and let’s face it, it’s never going to change back again.  So the challenge is to leverage the bits that can help us and avoid the pointless gadgets and fads.

Our philosophy is to learn and research as much as we can, get to the ground-breaking technology quickly and be in the position of helping our clients take advantage of it and gain the competitive edge.
